THE EXPERIENCE

Climb aboard our historic excursion train from Clewiston to Lake Placid, Florida, and enjoy a day-long roundtrip ride through the Glades Communities.

The Lake Placid Limited will depart Clewiston at 10:30 AM, arriving in Lake Placid for a 2.5-hour layover for lunch, shopping, and self-guided mural tours, with a return to Clewiston at approximately 5:00 PM. 

Tickets are $148.00 plus tax per person for the Palmdale Dining Car and $99.00 plus tax per person for Deluxe Coach seats. Dining Car passengers receive complimentary drinks, light snacks, and appetizers. These trips feature U.S. Sugar steam locomotive No. 148 operating the southbound segment of the trip and a U.S. Sugar diesel locomotive on the northbound segment.


Except for our open-air car Miami Locks, all cars are climate-controlled and restrooms and souvenirs are available on board. For questions, click here to contact the Ticket Agent.

Parties of 15 or more are eligible for group discounts in regular coach class seating and may contact us for more information.

PARKING & BOARDING

Parking and boarding for the trip will take place at 900 W C Owen Ave, Clewiston, FL 33440. Parking and boarding instructions will be emailed to you with your tickets.
